6 Harcourt Street/6 Sráid Fhearchair
Number 6 Harcourt Street, the Ceannáras of Conradh na Gaeilge, was the headquarters and bank of Sinn Féin in 1916 as well as the HQ for Cumann na mBan. In the period before and after the Rising, many of the great names in Irish history (including Michael Collins, Arthur Griffith, Eamon De Valera and Constance Marcievicz) worked here. Take a rare chance to see behind the doors of Conradh na Gaeilge with a series of tours of the building in Irish and English
Bhí Uimhir 6 Sráid Fhearchair, Ceannáras Chonradh na Gaeilge, in úsáid mar Cheannáras agus banc ag Sinn Féin i 1916, agus bhíodh Cumann na mBan ag cruinniú anseo go rialta. Sa tréimhse roimh an Éirí Amach agus ina dhiaidh chaith cuid de phearsana móra stair na hÉireann seal ag obair anseo (ina measc, Mícheál Ó Coileáin, Art Ó Gríofa, Eamonn De Valera, agus an Chuntéis Marciewicz). Tapaigh an deis cuairt a thabhairt ar fhoirgneamh a raibh ról cinntitheach aici i stair na hÉireann, le turais threoraithe i mBéarla agus i nGaeilge le linn an lae.
