Dick Cormac and his wife were living in the house beside the Father Mathew Hall on Church Street, Dublin in 1916. The hall was next to the Capuchin Friary and was used to treat those wounded during the fighting. One of the first to be killed in Church Street was Sean Foster, a two year old boy who was shot while being carried by his mother.
Dick Cormac gives his account of what he remembers of the events on the street where he lived.
Dick Cormac was interviewed for the television programme 'I Remember Easter' broadcast on Telefís Éireann, 22 April 1962.
