St Stephen’s Green, Family Zone – At the back of the Robert Emmet Statue.
This sound piece weaves together a selection of the last 100 years of Irish broadcasting, taking as a starting point, the radio message dispersed by the rebels in Morse code from the Wireless School of Telegraphy on Tuesday, April 25th 1916. The piece is an opportunity for visitors to sit down and listen to a 30 minute edit woven from archive voices of participants and observers of the Easter Rising in 1916.
