The Car and the 1916 Rising
Motorised transport, in particular the motorcar, played a significant role prior to, during and in the aftermath of the 1916 Rising. This talk highlights how the car was utilised by many of those involved in the insurrection and acted as both medic and mercenary throughout the Rising.
